£175 for switching to Nationwide

Nationwide Building Society is still paying £175 to new customers who switch a current account.

If you haven’t switched banks in a while, this is one of the cleaner offers around. No complicated hoops, just a standard full switch using the Current Account Switch Service.

What you need to do:

  • Open a qualifying FlexAccount online

  • Complete a full switch (including at least 2 active Direct Debits)

  • Meet their funding requirement (usually a minimum deposit)

Key points:

  • You must not have received a previous switch bonus from Nationwide

  • Direct Debits must be active at the time of switching

  • The offer is currently live and hasn’t been flagged as ending this week

Best for: Anyone who hasn’t switched in the last year or two and can move two Direct Debits easily.

£30 bonus via TopCashback

TopCashback is running an enhanced sign-up bonus again.

New members can earn up to £30 bonus cashback once they hit the required spend through tracked purchases.

This works best if you already have a planned purchase (insurance renewal, broadband, large retailer shop, etc). You’re essentially stacking cashback + bonus.

What you need to do:

  • Sign up via a bonus promotion link

  • Make qualifying purchases through TopCashback

  • Reach the spend threshold within the promo window

Key points:

  • Must be a new account

  • Purchases must track correctly (disable ad blockers)

  • Bonus tiers vary depending on spend level

Best for: Anyone with a planned £100–£200+ purchase coming up.

£50 energy credit via Octopus referral

Octopus Energy continues to offer £50 account credit when you switch using a referral link.

Energy deals aren’t wildly competitive right now, but Octopus remains fairly priced and flexible — and the £50 credit is immediate value.

What you need to do:

  • Switch gas and/or electricity to Octopus via a referral

  • Stay past the cooling-off period

Key points:

  • £50 per fuel (so £100 if you switch both gas and electricity from separate suppliers)

  • No exit fees on most standard tariffs

  • Offer still live as of this week

Best for: Anyone already considering a switch this winter.

Free Hot Drink via O2 Priority

If you’re on O2, or Virgin Media O2, check the Priority app.

O2 regularly runs free coffee promotions with chains like Greggs or Caffè Nero, and a fresh one has appeared this week. It’s genuinely free, no minimum spend.

What you need to do:

  • Open the O2 Priority app

  • Claim the voucher

  • Redeem before expiry (usually within a few days)

Key points:

  • O2 customers only

  • Limited weekly allocation

  • Typically refreshed each Friday

Best for: Anyone already paying for O2 — this is just reclaiming value.
