Here are the only offers worth your time this week: Big, straightforward switch bonuses (including one with ongoing bill cashback), a quick £25 for a few normal card spends, and two practical extras: half-price radiator reflectors and a pizza discount you can earn just by walking or running 🏃
£200 + bill cashback for switching to Santander Edge
Santander Edge pays £200 for switching in, and it can continue to pay afterwards: you can earn up to £10/month in cashback on household bills paid by Direct Debit (including council tax, energy, water, broadband, mobile, etc.). That’s why it’s a strong “set-and-forget” switch if you already pay a few bills by DD.
To qualify, you’ll need to open a Santander Edge account and switch using the Current Account Switch Service. The key hoops are: pay in £1,500 in total within 60 days, then (ongoing) keep £500+/month going in, and set up your bills to earn the cashback.
Gotchas: it’s £3/month (but for most people, the bill cashback should outweigh that). Also, as with any switch, there’s usually a credit check and you’ll want at least a couple of active Direct Debits ready to move across.
Best for: anyone with regular household bills (especially joint bills) who wants a switch bonus and ongoing cashback.
Up to £230 for switching to TSB Spend & Save
TSB’s switch is one of the better “total value” offers right now: £150 upfront, plus £50 later, plus £5/month for 6 months if you meet the debit-card spend requirement (so up to £230 in total).
To qualify, you need to switch in using the 7-day switch service and usually bring over 2+ Direct Debits/standing orders. Then:
£150 for completing the switch and meeting the core conditions
£5/month for 6 months if you make 20+ debit card payments each month
an extra £50 tied to pay-ins (one £1,000 pay-in by 20 March 2026, and another £1,000 pay-in in April)
Gotchas: the “20 transactions” rule is real, great if you naturally tap your card a lot, annoying if you don’t. Also, the £50 depends on those pay-in dates.
Best for: people who use their debit card frequently and can route salary (or savings) through the account for the pay-in requirement.
£175 for switching to First Direct (plus a strong regular saver)
First Direct’s switch pays £175, and it’s consistently popular because the account is fee-free and tends to score very well for service.
To qualify, you’ll need to switch using the 7-day switch service, and pay in £1,000 (one-off) within 45 days. First Direct also links to a regular saver (often one of the better rates going), which is a nice optional add-on if you’re the type who saves monthly.
Gotchas: as with all switches, expect a credit check. If you have a big credit application coming up (like a mortgage), it can be sensible to wait until that’s done.
Best for: anyone who wants a straightforward cash bonus without monthly fees, and doesn’t mind moving their main account for a bit.
£25 cash for a new Trading 212 card user (ends 20 Jan)
This one’s quick if you don’t mind a bit of setup: Trading 212 has a promo where new eligible users can get £25 cash after making a few card payments. It’s been doing the rounds on r/beermoneyuk, and the full terms are published.
What you need to do: sign up in the promo window, order the Trading 212 card, then make 3 card transactions of at least £5 each within 10 days. The reward is £25 cash (credited after you meet the conditions).
Gotchas: the promo period in the terms ends at midnight on 20 January 2026, so this is a “do it this week” one. Also, the transactions need to be genuine card payments (and there’s usually a short wait before you can withdraw/transfer the reward).
Best for: anyone happy to try a new investing platform/card and who can do three normal card spends (groceries, travel, etc.) without changing habits.
20% off Radflek radiator reflectors (starts Thu 22 Jan, limited)
If you pay for heating, this is one of the better small “home efficiency” wins: MoneySavingExpert has blagged 20% off Radflek radiator reflectors, a five-sheet pack is £32 delivered (normally £39).
What you do: buy via the MSE link when it opens. To get 20% off, you'll need to enter the code MSE2026.
Gotchas: not everyone will notice a dramatic bill drop, but reflectors are low-effort (stick them behind radiators on external walls) and can be worthwhile in colder rooms. The main “risk” is simply missing the drop if it sells out.
Best for: anyone in a draughty place, or with radiators on outside walls, who wants a low-cost, once-only tweak.
Free (or cheap) Franco Manca pizza for a run/walk (valid to 31 Jan)
Franco Manca is running a genuinely fun freebie: £1 off your pizza for every kilometre you run or walk in one go. So if you do 8–10km, that can cover a whole pizza. The promo runs from 5 Jan to 31 Jan, and you show your fitness app at the restaurant to claim the discount.
To do it: record a single run/walk on a fitness app that shows date, distance and route map (your phone’s default app or something like Strava). Then show it in a Franco Manca by Saturday 31 January.
Gotchas: your route is supposed to be pizza-shaped (circle/triangle), and MSE notes some inconsistency between branches — so it’s worth keeping your route simple and “pizza-ish” to avoid awkwardness.
Best for: anyone who already walks/runs (or wants an excuse to) and has a Franco Manca nearby.
